Welcome our newest guest photographer Charlotte Fassler, a multi-disciplinary artist whose main focus is film and photo. She has collaborated with brands like Malone Souliers, Mango, TUMI and Spotify. Directing under the moniker Similar But Different, she has done music videos for The Chainsmokers, Carlie Hanson and national commercials for Spotify, Land O’Lakes and Kohl’s. Also, we went to Barnard College together :)

I’ve always loved photography, from disposable cameras on elementary field trips to my first brick-size Olympus digital camera, it has always been how I archive memories. When I started working in a darkroom in high school, my hobby became more of an obsession.

The images I selected FYGB are from the year I lived in West Texas, the most magical place with the best light. There is a quietness to these mainly pre-dawn images that feel in tandem with the natural landscape.
